More about The 15th Anniversary Show:




Steve Penley will be exhibiting paintings of Ronald Reagan that will be featured in his upcoming book "Ronald Reagan: The American Ideal".  Also on view will be new landscapes, flower paintings and other iconic portraits.





Jane Filer's paintings are full of energy and a zest for life.  Her highly narrative works reveal layers of surprise, and the vibrant use of color lends an air of excitement.

Megan Lightell's landscapes possess both sophistication and comfort.  Her unique palette, subtle brushwork and sense of composition bring a sense of calmness and mood to her paintings.





Lu Steed offers a brand new series that features a mix of vintage family photographs and her distinct style of landscape painting.  It is refreshing to see Lu continue to experiment with new concepts and alternative processes, and her new series is sure to make a bold impact.

Robert Matre's "I Shot A Hundred" installation will be on view, featuring photographs from his Golf Viewing series from 2003 - 2010.  The show will also feature images from his recent trip to document many of the great links courses of Ireland and Scotland.





Otto Lange will be making his Matre Gallery debut, and we are excited to welcome him to our roster of artists.  A pop art sensibility, quirky charm and amazing skill all come together in his vivid paintings that compel and entertain.
